The function

Looking for a place where you can really do business? Where you build your own client portfolio and land deals from 5k to 200k?

What will you do?

As an account manager at DatAction, you will be working with really interesting clients. Think Port of Rotterdam, Wehkamp, DAF, Wibra and other retail chains. Also fire departments, ambulance services and defense – organizations where your solutions can literally save lives.

The interlocutors are IT managers and warehouse managers. People who have interesting issues, who make decisions and understand what it’s all about. This position offers freedom to pioneer and set your own course. Room for entrepreneurship within the role. That is what makes us unique.

We are looking for someone who is driven and results-oriented. Someone who sees opportunities and prefers to be outside with customers. Not a position to run on routine, but a role for people who want to build. You will visit your clients or prospects weekly, identify bottlenecks in their processes and translate them into concrete IT solutions. You will work on deals from 5k to 200k and will be outward facing.

What are we looking for?

You have Mbo4 / Hbo level, sense for IT and commerce and you easily switch between technology and practice. You are proactive, curious and not afraid to open doors. Communication skills in Dutch and English.

But the most important thing is your attitude. You want to get out the door. You see opportunities and seize them. You manage yourself for results. You are energetic and want to be entrepreneurial within your function.

What do you get in return?

Commerce is paramount in this position. But always with the customer at the center. You work at least one day a week at the office in Dronten for consultation and bonding with your team. The rest of your time will be outside. You will work in a team of 4 direct colleagues under the leadership of the sales manager.
