Ridder, with locations in Maasdijk and Harderwijk, develops and manufactures innovative solutions for the horticulture and livestock sectors. Its portfolio includes process automation, drive systems, climate screens, water treatment, robotics, and labor management.
The question
Logistics processes require continuity, control, and technology that simply works.
The Solution
Working closely with DatAction, Ridder opted for a structured approach. A thorough proof of concept formed the basis for the final decision and confirmed that the solution aligns well with real-world practice.
DatAction implemented a new generation of Zebra mobile computers: the TC22 and MC3400. These devices are used in conjunction with Microsoft Dynamics, which Ridder employs to manage, record, and coordinate logistics processes.
In addition, Cloud DNA, Zebra’s management and monitoring tool, is part of the solution. This enables efficient remote support for all locations, provided by both Ridder’s in-house IT team and DatAction.
The result
Ridder’s logistics processes have been further strengthened in terms of continuity, manageability, and support. Thanks to the combination of modern Zebra technology, Microsoft Dynamics, and DatAction’s expertise, Ridder now has a solid foundation for further growth and optimization.
