At DatAction, you work on the digital infrastructure of the Netherlands.

As an Inside Sales Specialist, you are the beating heart of our commercial operation. You really help customers, you don’t pass them on – because we’re not a help desk that won’t help without a contract. We simply solve our customers’ problems. You take customers by the hand through the whole process. For smaller projects, you handle everything yourself. On larger projects, you hand over professionally to an account manager.

So who are those customers? This is where it gets really interesting. You have contact with companies your friends would envy, such as Albert Heijn warehouses, Port of Rotterdam, Wehkamp, DAF, Wibra.

You help optimize and digitize their production and logistics processes. And then also fire and ambulance services. Organizations where reliability can literally save lives.

You create quotations that your customers understand. You give them a solution that really works. You ensure that support, sales and administration work together smoothly. You also support our marketing. And you pick up initiatives where you see opportunities. You work commercially, but never at the expense of the customer. You work in a team of 4 direct colleagues, led by the sales manager.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with at least MBO3/4 working and thinking level. You have an affinity with IT and hardware. Feeling for technology. You have good communication skills in Dutch and English. You have a sense of responsibility. Experience in commercial roles helps. Think telecom, hardware, IT solutions or internet provider.

But the most important thing is your attitude. You solve problems instead of passing them on. You see opportunities and seize them. You are not afraid to show initiative.

What do you get in return?
