IP65: Rugged laptops with IP65 certification are completely resistant to dust, sand, and other external particles. Laptops with this certification can also withstand 12.5 liters of water per minute.

IP66: Rugged laptops with IP66 certification are also 100% resistant to dust, sand, and other external particles. The internal hardware in these laptops is vacuum-sealed, ensuring that it remains clean. Devices with this certification are also highly resistant to water pressure. They can withstand a flow of 100 liters of water per minute and are resistant to high-pressure water jets up to 12.5 mm wide.

MIL-STD-810: When a rugged laptop has this certification, it means that it meets military standards. This entails the following:

They can operate under extreme temperatures—from -32 °C to 65 °C for more than 4 hours. They can also withstand rapid temperature fluctuations.
